Mark is responsible for leading Netflix's engagement with technology standards related to streaming, ensuring international standards support our innovation and partner engagement for the Netflix service. (Ex: W3C, MPEG DASH, Alliance for Open Media and UHD Alliance) He conducts research into internet performance and implications for adaptive streaming algorithms and contributes to Netflix product development in this area. A native of UK, he’s no stranger to travel and enjoys representing Netflix as much as traveling the world exploring the ruins of Greek mythology with his children.

Kevin is a Senior Software Engineer on the Interactive Experiences UI Team, focused on building UI experiences for the Netflix TV application, which is installed on hundreds of millions of Consumer Electronic devices - everything from Smart TVs and streaming sticks to game consoles and cable boxes. Kevin has been involved in the development of all of Netflix's Interactive experiences to-date, so feel free to ask him about them if you'd like to learn more about what has been explored thus far.

Courtney Kennedy

Manager, CE Device Player

Courtney manages the Javascript Player team for Netflix’s TV App, which is installed on hundreds of millions of Consumer Electronic devices - everything from Smart TVs and streaming sticks to game consoles and cable boxes. She has a background developing software for video and audio. Prior to joining Netflix in 2016, she worked as a software engineer at Avid Technology, contributing to their Media Composer video editing software, and later as an engineering manager at Apple, responsible for parts of the functionality in Core Media and AVFoundation frameworks.
